Fixed the menu arrows to display the same in IE as FireFox.

After looking at the links on my styles, I noticed it's pretty hard to tell what is a link and what is not. So I added some colors to them so that they stick out a little more.

On another note, I also noticed the menu arrows that I put in don't display correctly in IE, so when I get the time I'll have to take a look into it.

I changed the function file so that it can be included multiple times and not cause any errors. Normally when a function is declared already and it is trying to be declared it'll create an error.

I've also removed extra white spaces in the CSS files but not changed it enough that it isn't readable when looking at it. I've been thinking about removing the extra returns and the like to shrink them down even more, though mantaining them would be harder to do.

I've added and completed the online posting for myself and anyone else that I create a user for. Of course I haven't really created any different accounts besides the one I am using and any user could post on both the front page and the template section.

Another note, I've noticed the template section getting rather long and so I'll probably work on an archive list and list only recent updates. This will also reflect the front page as well.

Interesting how you find more and more stuff you can cut out of your css as you look at it over time. I also added a border to the top of the footer to further distingusih it from the rest of the page.

I was messing around with some DHTML to get a working hide/show menu that'll work in both ID and Netscape/Mozilla. Well I finally found a solution with a mix of javascript and DHTML to change the display value to the submenu items. The final functionality is in the left table of contents.

Changed the way the skin changing script runs. There should be no visible difference.

Cleaning up some of the template data so that it is much smaller and less for the server to load.

All hail the crappy IE, anyways I've made a fix for those who are using IE, which is sadly most of the people in the US to not do the fancy menu hide and shows. This added an extra 2k to the php page, which I doubt it really changes much on the load for the user.

OK.. IE needs to die! Apparently IE doesn't understand the way that I made the menus correctly like what Mozilla and Netscape understands.

Added the different title names. This may also be applied to the actual page when I get the time to place it in the banner area.

Updated the layout and colors for skin2 so that they all match. Along with shrinking the layout and both skins css files.

I added in sub menus to the left contents because I thought it would be interesting and help organize the site later down the road.

Fixing the colors and hopfully get some images in place.

New Colors and trying out a different style with the exact same layout.

Splitting the CSS into two files, one for layout and structure the second for color and styles. The reason for all this is so that newer templates would be easier to make.

A different style for the web page then what I pictured it. This is using a specific height for the web page and the content scrolls if it's too large for the space provided.

What else is new that I moved the titles outside of the content area. All in all what the page looks like didn't change, but made it easier with the style2.

New Stuff:

Moved the W3C banners to the Misc area (where it should've been).

Changed the color of the section titles.

Things To Do:

Switch To PHP.

Grab Data from a database.

Implament iframes (but shouldn't be needed if grabbing data from a database).

Add the bullets on each side of the news section.

Add in the functionality of a water mark in the background.

Color schemes for headers and such.

Compress the CSS file when finished.

Add in actual content.

More Things To Do:

Build template to fixed size (exactly the same as the picture) with scrolling in all the fields.

Continue to build the dynamic design.

• Cleaning out the useless stuff in the CSS.
• Changed the Releases list to just the series name instead of the episodes along with it.
• Added in a fake poll to see what it would look like.
• Added CSS class tableTitle that is used in the poll title.
• Starting to compress the CSS file.

• Finish compressing the CSS when it is finished.
• Working on some color schemes that could be used, such as h1, h2, h3, smallHeader, and largeHeader (ideas from work).
• Change the titles of the sections from images to actual text (should shrink the size of the pictures).
• Make the page in php and pull content out of a database along with the actual template functioning on multiple pages with one central place for the template.

Death to IE!! Since IE6 is supposedly the last version of it, and it can't do CSS worth crap... diiiieeeeeee.

Trying out something different since the page looks very lopsided with teh releases list being so long.
